Hace algunos meses, justo antes de las navidades, fui a cenar con un grupo de amigos a un restaurante de Barcelona. Casa Leopoldo.
Supongo que muchos de vosotr@s conocéis bien este restaurante. Es un clásico de la ciudad de Barcelona. Yo era la segunda vez que iba y la verdad he de decir que me gustó muchísimo.
La razón de elegir este restaurante no fue otra que aprovecharnos de que el cocinero es hijo de uno de los amigos con el que íbamos a cenar, se llama Roger Blanes.
Roger es un cocinero joven, pero con mucha experiencia en el sector, nos presentó unos platos muy bien elaborados, con materias primas muy ricas y originales pero que te permitían saber que estabas comiendo en cada momento. Creo que con su cocina ha dado a este restaurante un toque moderno que combina perfectamente con la cocina de siempre que siguen manteniendo.
Aprovechando la confianza, nos pasó a saludar la dueña de Casa Leopoldo. Ese fue otro de los momentos que más me gusto, me podría pasar horas y horas escuchándola. Nos contó toda la historia de casa Leopoldo, los inicios de su padre, la relación que han mantenido siempre con los personajes de la cultura catalana, escritores, toreros, etc. ¡Impresionante!
Yo desde aquí sólo quiero deciros que si vais no os defraudará, se come de maravilla.
Esta receta la he preparado intentando hacer algo parecido a una de las que nos preparó Roger. No es igual, pero estoy satisfecha con el resultado. Espero que os guste.
